The book´s presentation and proposal for publication:

Author: Getúlio Mac Cord is broadcaster and researcher about the MPB.

1. Synopsis of the Workmanship: Beyond an introductory study on the movement, approaching its antecedents (1956 to 1966), its explosion (1967 to 1969) and refractions (1970 to 1981), the workmanship collects a series of historical depositions of important artists, critics and personalities of the musical area, amongst which we can detach the names of Caetano Veloso, Gilbert Gil, Tom Zé, Jose Carlos Capinan, Rogério Duarte, Jards Macalé, Jose Celso Martinez Corrêa, Fernando Faro, Guillermo Araújo, Sergio Dias, Liminha, Sergio Ricardo, and the teachers Júlio Medaglia and Rogério Duprat.

2. Events of Launching: The launching if would give in Rio-São Paulo, and sometimes in other capitals, with sarau and night of autographs, including the presence of the author and some of the interviewed ones.

3. Proposal of Production and Budget: With about 250/300 pp., the book would be edited with drawing of 1500 units, size 14x21, layer 4/0 plasticized or varnished in paper 250 supreme card g/m²; marrow 1/1 in paper offset 90 g/m². The minimum cost, that includes the composition of the book, printing and spreading, would be of R$ The price of the unit would be, therefore, of R$ The proposal of co-edition and/or incentive allows to the propagation of the logomarca of the collaborators and/or sponsors in the edited workmanship and the instruments of spreading beyond acquisition quotas 100 books, with 20% of discounting Comment: Other forms of cultural incentive could be analyzed by the publishers.
